It was a disappointing finish for Gilas Pilipinas to an otherwise stellar performance in the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship. Hardly anyone smiled as they received their silver medals. For a team that had its fair share of doubters (“Dapat may Junemar!”) (“Kulang ng shooters!”), this is a good thing. They knew they had a chance against powerhouse China. Heads up, Gilas, you’ll get your revenge soon enough.
