You already know what Thornton, Dozier, Bowles and Chism can do. Here are five other talented PBA imports you have to watch out for in this year’s Commissioner’s Cup, including Ivan Johnson, who probably still has a piece of Paul Lee’s tooth embedded in his elbow.
OTHYUS JEFFERS (Ginebra)
Where you may have seen him: A short but memorable stint for Talk N’ Text two years ago (38 pts, 13 rebs). Riding the bench for the Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs, Washington Wizards, and Minnesota Timberwolves. He also killed it at the D-League:
ARINZE ONUAKU (Meralco)
Where you may have seen him: Being the star in NBA Summer League and D-League highlights.
BRIAN WILLIAMS (Globalport)
Where you may have seen him: Hitting the game-winner for the San Miguel Beermen at the ASEAN Basketball League, where he was teammates with Asi Taulava and Chris Banchero.
AUGUSTUS GILCHRIST (Mahindra)
Where you may have seen him: You probably haven’t. So here’s a highlight reel of him dropping 29 pts at the NBA D-League:
IVAN JOHNSON (Talk ‘N Text)
Where you may have seen him: Getting on Yeng Guiao’s nerves:
He also cameoed in Taking Out Paul Lee’s Tooth:

On a side note, Johnson missed the first game of the Commissioner’s Cup because we was suspended for punching Blackwater’s JP Erram and Frank Golla during a tuneup game. Welcome back Ivan!
