“My dad is a ‪#‎LigaLegend‬ because he makes us feel that everyday is Christmas and because he makes sure that we are safe at all times.”

LASTIMOSA

CD Lastimosa, the daughter of PBA legend and broadcaster Jojo Lastimosa, on why her dad is a Liga Legend:

“Most days, I forget that my dad is among the 25 greatest PBA players of all time. Basketball was undoubtedly a huge part of our family’s lives and despite my dad having been so busy with his career on the court, he never failed to make us feel we were still his number 1 priority. My memories with my dad off the court outweigh all the games I watched him play, every championship I saw him win, and every award I witnessed him receive. Being a dad was and always is his number 1 job, and we always felt it from him. Despite the demands of being a pro basketball player, he still manages to be there for me, my mom, and my sisters through and through. Our comfortable lives and countless memories are all because of his career. These are all the reasons why my dad is a #LigaLegend.”

ABARRIENTOS

Jacee Abarrientos, daughter of PBA legend and assistant coach Johnny Abarrientos, on why her dad is a Liga Legend:

“My dad is a #LigaLegend because he raised me and my brothers to know Jesus Christ on a personal level.”
