The year was 1986. School rallies were pretty common.
One afternoon, Ronnie Magsanoc was told to go and meet his teammates in front of the Oblation. When he arrived, he saw people lined up along the streets of the campus.
“May rally na naman,” he thought to himself.
It wasn’t until a dump truck pulled up, and they were told to hop on, that he realized that the people were there for them. For the UAAP championship that they had just won.
That day, Magsanoc understood what winning meant to the thousands of people that they played for. And now, he is now part of them, waiting and hoping for UP’s first title in more than three decades.
Where were you when UP last won a UAAP championship? #WWYW
