Don’t Call It a Comeback: The Nike SB Resurgence

Over the last few years, we’ve seen a resurgence of Nike SBs, but for hardcore collectors like Mackie Correa of Archived and enthusiasts like Martin of Sole Movement, the Nike SBs never left. Dunks are the reason most sneaker heads of a certain age became sneaker heads in the first place.

Nike is doing a great job of picking collabs to build on the buzz around Nike SB. We’ve seen Kyrie rock the Concepts collab. Jeff Staple x Nike SB released a third Pigeon Dunk. Nick Diamond and Diamond Supply Co. did a reboot of the Tiffany Dunk in 2018. And, of course, the Travis Scott SB Dunk low is one of the biggest sneaker releases of 2020.
