What If NBA Teams Were Introduced WWE Survivor Series-Style?

WWE recently held its annual Survivor Series pay-per-view. The show’s draw has traditionally been a five-on-five elimination tag team match featuring all-star lineups that would never otherwise be grouped together. In many ways, Survivor Series is like the WWE’s equivalent of the NBA’s All-Star Weekend. The stars come together and put whatever differences they have aside for a match without any real consequences.

Nobody ever imagined an NBA team losing nine games in a year. Nobody ever thought over a thousand three pointers could be made. Nobody considered, even for a single moment, that a team, led by an interim head coach, would be able to go on such a hot streak to start the season. Here we are folks. A new bar has been set by the Golden State Warriors.
