3 Rappers that could’ve played in the NBA

We’ve seen NBA players moonlight as music artists, and let’s just say most of them need to stick to their day jobs. On the other hand, we’ve also seen famous rappers like Common, Quavo and Jack Harlow flex their games during the annual NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

All gimmicks aside, there are actually several emcees that can PLAY at a high level but chose the rap game instead. Let’s have a look at 3 rappers that could have made it to the NBA.

NBA Trade Machine

If you’re a true NBA fan, chances are you’ve probably stumbled upon something called the NBA trade machine. It’s pretty much an awesome site that lets you realize your dream of becoming a General Manager of an NBA franchise. Well, we have one man to thank for this wonderful invention:

Mr. Sachin Gupta.

Bird Rights Explainer

If you’ve been following the NBA, we’re sure you’ve heard of the term “bird rights” especially when it’s free agency season.

Bird rights aka the Larry Bird exception is a league sanctioned loop-hole that allows a team to re-sign a player even if it means they’re going beyond the league salary cap.

The KD Producer Pack

Anytime my interests intersect like this, you know I’m gonna talk about it. In this case MUSIC AND HOOPS. KD recently dropped the Nike KD15 ‘PRODUCER PACK’. Now it’s no surprise the KD chose a music collaboration. He has tattoos of 2pac, wutang clan and Rick James on his left leg.

EASYMONEY Sniper partnered up with Boi-1da, Cardo and 9th wonder for some killer color ways.

The Air Jordan 2 Low ‘Titan’

The other day, Titan officially launched the Air Jordan 2 ‘Titan’. The story behind the Air Jordan 2 ‘Titan’ is just amazing. They got Chi to design a shoe that pays tribute to her grand father Caloy Loyzaga. Then the shoe itself is beautiful. I love corduroy. I love orange and green. I love that it’s a low. Just perfect execution by Titan.

In this video, we talk to Nikko Ramos about how they decided to work with Chi to design the shoes. We also talked to Chi Loyzaga Gibbs about her design process.

The folks at Titan keep doing their thing. You think they reached the top then they do something even more amazing.
